Morgon Corcelette Cuvée Alexia , produced by Vignobles Bodillard, is an authentic expression of the tradition of the AOC Morgon appellation. Made exclusively from Gamay grapes from 20 to 50 year old vines worked by hand, this wine reflects a strong commitment to respecting the environment, minimising treatments and promoting sustainable practices.
The grapes, carefully harvested by hand, undergo carbonic maceration for approximately 16 days. Fermentation and ageing take place in concrete tanks, preserving the freshness and unique aromas of the terroir composed of granite sand and schist. This wine contains no or very few additives, depending on the vintage.
On the nose and palate, it is rich and balanced, combining freshness and body with a hint of sweetness. Perfect to accompany meats in sauce and cheeses, it is recommended to serve it at around 14°C. With a storage potential of up to 8 years and an alcohol content of 13%, it represents the richness and character of its origin.
