About the Domain
The history of the Ermes winery dates back to a time of devastation and rebirth following the earthquake that struck the region on January 14 and 15, 1968, destroying significant parts of the Belize Valley. A group of young winegrowers decided to start over and in 1998, they established the Ermes winery, located between Gibellina and Santa Ninfa in the heart of the Belize Valley, marking a social and economic renaissance for the community.
