Château Caillou is a 16-hectare vineyard located in the upper Barsac, on a clay-limestoneplateau with pebbles. TheSemillon vineyard represents 90% of the vineyard and its main virtue is its adaptation to the development of botrytis cinerea. It gives fine wines, of a beautiful golden colour with notes of almonds, honey and cinnamon.

The remaining 10% is Cabernet to add a perfect freshness, minerality, with notes of citrus, lemon, exotic fruits and white flowers.

The final assemblage assemblage in the very particular soil of Barsac is part of the reputation of the Grands Crus Classés.
