With an area of 0.72 hectares, this vineyard is located in the Lieu-dit "Les Fouillouses" in Juliénas. Juliénas is one of the northernmost crus of Beaujolais. It is located on the north bank of the Mauvaise valley, a small tributary of the Saône. It is characterised by the greatest diversity of soils in the Beaujolais vineyard, with vines split between granitic soils to the west and sedimentary soils to the east.
VINE VINEYARDS
The wine is made from 100% Gamay grapes.
WINEMAKING INFORMATION
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard and in the winery. Vinification is carried out without sulphites and is macerated for 15 days with temperature control (15° - 28°C) and daily pumping over. The wine is gently pressed in a pneumatic press. The wine is aged in concrete tanks for 15 months before being bottled on the estate.
TASTING
The wine has a ruby red colour. It has a nice aroma of red fruits and soft spices. In the mouth, it pleasantly combines fruit and freshness in a generous matter. Pleasant acidulous finish. Pure and simple, it aims at the heart of the fruit. It can be kept for up to 8 years and should be served at a temperature of 14 to 15°C.

To reveal its aromas, it can be served with lamb or cheese.
