When the cold of winter sets in, there's nothing like a warm, comforting plate of pasta to warm the soul. Today we bring you a classic French recipe: Coquillettes al Mont d'Or, a perfect combination of pasta, creamy cheese and crispy bacon.

  • 150 g coquillettes

  • 1 small Mont d'Or (450 g)

  • 50g bacon

  • a little white wine

  • Pepper to taste


  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  2. Cook the coquillettes in salted water until al dente.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, sauté the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  4. Make a small hole in the surface of the Mont d'Or, pour in a little white wine and add pepper.
  5. Bake the Mont d'Or for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, mix and gently add the cooked pasta.
  7. Add the bacon to the mixture.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy this delicious dish.
