When the cold of winter sets in, there's nothing like a warm, comforting plate of pasta to warm the soul. Today we bring you a classic French recipe: Coquillettes al Mont d'Or, a perfect combination of pasta, creamy cheese and crispy bacon.
Ingredients:
150 g coquillettes
1 small Mont d'Or (450 g)
50g bacon
a little white wine
Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Cook the coquillettes in salted water until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, sauté the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- Make a small hole in the surface of the Mont d'Or, pour in a little white wine and add pepper.
- Bake the Mont d'Or for 20-25 minutes.
- Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, mix and gently add the cooked pasta.
- Add the bacon to the mixture.
- Serve hot and enjoy this delicious dish.
