Grape variety: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Nose: Subtle aromas of very ripe and fresh red fruits, tinged with floral notes (peony), smoky and spicy.
Palate: Very pleasant and tender on the palate, fleshy and unctuous on the palate, with great freshness ending with pleasant aromas of candied fruit.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Food Pairing: Country terrine, cheese soufflés, Caesar salad, grilled duck breast, goose stew or apple pie.
Drinkable now but will develop favourably over 5 years.
