Domaine La Maurine Cuvée Engouement St Chinian BIO

Domaine La Maurine Cuvée Engouement St Chinian ORGANIC Red Wine

The Cuvée Engouement of Domaine La Maurine, located in the Saint-Chinian region, captivates with its balanced and fruity character. Composed mainly of Syrah and Grenache, this organic red wine offers an intense purple-red colour and displays captivating aromas of small red fruits, dark chocolate and blackcurrant. On the palate, it is round, full, very fruity, with soft tannins and notes of sweet spices, creating a harmonious balance. Ideal for aperitifs and grilled meat or white meat dishes, this wine gains complexity after an ageing of 4 years. The estate, located in Causses et Veyran, preserves the heritage of three generations growing grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Viognier on low yielding clay-limestone and slate soils, thus producing a variety of quality wines, between AOC St-Chinian and Vin de Pays d'Oc.
