Tribbiera represents the ancient way of threshing wheat, an ancestral practice where Corsican peasants threshed wheat with the help of oxen. This rosé is composed of 45% Niellucciu, 45% Sciaccarellu, 5% Cinsault, 5% Vermentinu. With its light colour, its pleasant notes of small, tangy red fruits and its refreshing, delicate palate, it is the perfect companion for summer evenings.
It all began in 1973 for the Suzzoni family: the land, the vines, the grapes and the wine. Between sea and mountain, the vineyard sits on monzogranitic sands composed of highly silicate crystalline metamorphic rocks, rich in potassium, magnesium and manganese. This is the typical terroir of the AOC Corse Calvi, and is one of the oldest granitic bases in Corsica (350 million years old). Deeply connected to this terroir, the family cultivates its vineyards organically (in the process of becoming biodynamic) and also replants ancient endemic varieties, offering a wide range of aromas and characteristics.
