La Belle-Iloise sardines in olive oil, lemon thyme and Timut pepper are fresh sardines carefully prepared and preserved in extra virgin olive oil. They are then seasoned with fresh thyme and lemon zest to give them a fresh and aromatic touch. Finally, a pinch of Timut pepper is added for a light citrus flavour and a hint of spice.
These sardines can be enjoyed as a main dish or as a starter, accompanied by a green salad and a few slices of toasted bread. They can also be used to make toast or canapés for an aperitif. To serve, simply remove them from the tin, drain slightly and place them on a plate. Enjoy!
